At EQUIP EVENT, we are committed to supporting major sporting projects by bringing our expertise to the installation of stadium seating.
It was in this context that our teams took part in a major project at the Stade de la Meinau in Strasbourg, with the installation of 11,732 AVATAR seats across several stands of the ground.
A large-scale project that ranks among the most significant works carried out by our teams to date.
A project spanning several months
The installation of the seats took place over several months, mobilising our teams across the different phases of the works.
We were responsible for fitting out three stands of the stadium:
SOUTH stand:
5,747 seats installed
EAST stand:
2,436 seats installed
These two stands were completed from June to early August, on a particularly fast-moving schedule.
NORTH stand:
3,549 seats installed
Work carried out in October.
In total, 11,732 AVATAR seats were installed throughout the stadium.
Several ranges of AVATAR seats
To meet the stadium’s varied requirements, several ranges from the AVATAR collection were installed:
- AVATAR Basic
- AVATAR Premium
- AVATAR Suite
Each range was selected to suit the different areas and levels of comfort within the stadium.
A sporting challenge for our teams
A project of this scale represents a genuine logistical and operational challenge.
For several months, our teams were fully mobilised on site to ensure the seats were installed within the allotted time.
As with any large-scale project, the work called for rigour, coordination and adaptability. Deadlines were particularly tight and we had to keep up a sustained pace to meet the stadium’s schedule.
A challenge met thanks to the commitment and professionalism of our teams.
A source of pride for EQUIP EVENT
With 11,732 seats installed, this project at the Stade de la Meinau now ranks among the largest ever delivered by EQUIP EVENT.
We are proud to have contributed to the development of this iconic sporting venue and to have supported such an ambitious project.
